L 2000 is the most compact drum compost screener in the Pezzolato range, a professional machine suitable for the size separation of the organic material such as compost or wood chips.
These machines are used in the refining of the compost, the separation of dry and wet waste, the screening of wood chips, the recovery of wood waste and ground pallets, and are widely used in various sectors, especially in the production of fertilisers, where they help to guarantee a final product with a high quality standard.
The key feature that distinguishes the L 2000 is the height of the under screen discharge belt, which reaches a height of two meters, allowing the material to be conveyed into a small trailer or form a large pile on the ground. The height of the unloading hopper above the screen, on the other hand, reaches a height of one meter, allowing, also in this case, the accumulation of the material in small boxes or its unloading to the ground so that the operator can easily load it with shovels or other mechanical means. The screening system is reduced to essential, ensuring productivity and ease of use.
The drive is located at the front of the machine, together with all hydraulic transmission components. The drive is transmitted by a chain welded around the cylinder and a gearbox with hydraulic motors. It is possible to vary the rotational speed of the screener cylinder according to the production requirements. The screener is interchangeable and easily replaceable if necessary.
The Pezzolato drum screeners, such as the L 2000 MINI, are also used for the selection of wood chips to be burned in automatically fed boilers: in fact, they separate, in a single passage, the fine parts or outsized flakes to obtain a product of homogeneous size.
The L 2000 is available with three types of drive: the PTO of the tractor, an autonomous motor (diesel) or an electric motor.
The rotary screeners in the stationary/electric version can be set up on feet or on a concrete base. In this version, the screening system is reduced to essential, thus ensuring productivity, lower maintenance requirements and great ease of use.
