The roomy hopper is equipped with a slat feeding belt, or for special requirements, a rubber belt. An adjustable brush is mounted longitudinally to the cylinder to keep the screening surface clean. In the standard version, both ‘under screen’ and ‘over screen’ material is collected by two evacuation belts that take it to a height of 2.6 meters from the ground.
These machines are used in the refining of the compost, the separation of dry and wet waste, the screening of wood chips, the recovery of wood waste and ground pallets, and are widely used in various sectors, especially in the production of fertilisers, where they help to guarantee a final product with a high quality standard.
The Pezzolato drum screeners, such as the L 3000, are also used for the selection of wood chips to be burned in automatically fed boilers: in fact, they separate, in a single passage, the fine parts or outsized flakes to obtain a product of homogeneous size.
The L 3000 is available with three types of drive: the PTO of the tractor, an autonomous motor (diesel) or an electric motor.
The rotary screeners in the stationary/electric version can be set up on feet or on a concrete base. In this version, the screening system is reduced to essential, thus ensuring productivity, lower maintenance requirements and great ease of use.
